On Thursday (20 May) the Greens/EFA group will be launching a new independent study on the risks and reality of carbon leakage in the EU, which has been prepared by Climate Strategies, an international research consultancy. The study - which will outline the potential risks of carbon leakage in the EU, as well as discussing policy options for addressing the problem - should be seen in the context of the forthcoming Communication from the European Commission on the subject, due to be published on 26 May.
